Iiiiiiii think most have to be addressed. I don’t mind if hugs and kisses accompany like, actual talks rather than sweeping it under the rug. We saw what sweeping it under the rug and and hugs, kisses, and sex resulted in: Dragon. It didn’t solve Kaneki’s issues so I don’t think it’s gonna solve anyone else’s.
They’re not gonna be flawless by the end, but I think they at least need to like, name those flaws. Mutsuki’s actually doing pretty well by that. And importantly, he said something incredibly telling:
He’s associated the Quinx surgery with the violations Torso and his father did to his body and what he did to others. In other words, he does see the CCG as an abuser.
Others need to move in this direction.
This is a really good point, and interesting because we have never been told the circumstances or reasons for Mutsuki to have the surgery.
Shirazu needed the money.
Saiko was sold by her mother.
Urie wanted more power.
But Mutsuki’s motivations were never explored. And now we have Mutsuki comparing the surgery to other violations and wishing for death.
You know I was thinking… since Mutsuki said a ghoul killed their family but the CCG clearly didn’t believe that, maybe they gave Mutsuki an ultimatum?
Something like “you can be a CCG investigator and fight against ghouls but only if you do the Qs experiment”?? In that case it’d be no wonder Mutsuki compares it to the other bad things in their life. Poor kiddo. :///
I mean, the Qs would probably be okay with Mutsuki’s apology and all but how about everyone else? Mutsuki’s already eaten human flesh and went beyond the boundaries he was given.
I personally doubt his actions will get ignored (even Mutsuki himself thought he’s past the point of no return) but I guess that’s another thing to think of after this whole Kaneki’s-a-worm-and-that’s-not-good arc comes to an end.
I 1000% don’t see after all this how anyone could think that Ishida’s message is anything but “no matter how terrible things get, no matter how low you feel, there is always a chance for hope and love”

There is something so neat about UT’s design… well, before he became the Undertaker we know. If you look closely, here’s what you can notice:
long coat, falls way below the knees
heels and a lil bow on his shoes that probably aren’t boots
another ribbon holding his long hair in a ponytail
he had bangs back then too
finally, free from the ponytail there appears to be a shorter strand of hair that just falls on the left side of his face
((I find it’s kinda reminiscing of Frances/Lizzie’s curled strand, even if for them it’s on their right side, but you guys know my bias for this theory xD))
Of course, this isn’t a full comparison since Zeke clearly has had strong daddy issues for a while when real!Ciel’s motive might be tied more directly to his brother, but I found the slight resemblance interesting.
About zombie!real!Ciel though, yes I agree and it’s something I and several others have mentioned before. When you look at bizarre dolls in general, even if we don’t know whether real!Ciel was brought back by UT or not, well…
they always had violence and obsessionas common points.
It might be because UT said that BDs tended to seek what they lacked, or it might simply be his method of using the “episodes”
within the cinematic records
(yearning for the future: in real!Ciel’s case => “staying with my little brother”, making real!Ciel a more perfect version of Derrick and Agares), but my personal opinion is that the whole process of bringing the dead back to “life” is so unnatural anyway that it’s bound to never work perfectly.
The other explanation where real!Ciel is concerned could be that…
his time with the cult 4 years ago and him being sacrificed were such traumatizing events that he became crazy while on the brink of death and it’s something that stayed even when he was brought back (because let’s be honest here, our!Ciel fares much better than he did 4 years ago thanks to going back to a life where he had caring servants, loving family and friends, even if he tried to push all that away).
Also about the twin, again I agree that if the RCMT is correct, then…
the massacre of the entire household was unplanned. However, it’s just my opinion but considering his weird reaction in this scene…
…I know it’s absolutely horrible (though @dorkshadows will surely like it), but my current take on the RCMT is that
maybe Vincent and Rachel were the only targets in real!Ciel’s initial plan,
(hence why I find there might be a resemblance with Zeke Jaeger in the first place)
or maybe real!Ciel took his “ally”’s words for it that they had a solution to his problem and when he found their parents dead, he realized a little too late what that solution was (which is similar to your idea that he went with the flow and took the ring).
Maybe that’s why there is such a strong focus on real!Ciel taking the ring with barely a reaction about their parents’ death and the ring representing his wish to “start over together”. Maybe for the year and a half after this scene…
…he couldn’t hide how bitter he was to have to become Earl Phantomhive when our!Ciel would become a toymaker and leave for London, which is what the mastermind used against him.
So, when December 14th came and if the RCMT is correct, real!Ciel at least muzzled the dog because he knew someone was coming to do something. The question now is, did he count on the plan leading to his parents’ death or did he just realize too late what the “plan” to help his wish was? At this point it’s hard to say, even if @thedarkestcrow rightfully pointed out to me that the first option is maybe too extreme since real!Ciel didn’t hate his family.
Sorry for the long post, it’s just one possibility and my opinion, so it could be 100% off.

Hi Anon! Yeah, I noticed the Queen is one of the few who never called Ciel by his name, the others being UT, Tanaka and Seb. 🙂
I always wondered if that was because she knew the truth (like Tanaka or Seb), or if that’s because she’s his master and is not using his name on purpose because he’s just her dog or something (kinda like UT, who either guessed about the change of identity or who simply doesn’t care since “they’re all Phantomhives to me anyway” and he called Vincent “Earl” too).
About what John Brown said though…
In my opinion, he’s directly referring to our!Ciel trying to double cross the Queen by hiding the SuLIN Sieglinde created, which is what they wanted for their war plans.
So Brown is half-calling him out and half-threatening him by comparing him to Vincent, who was probably murdered because he too messed up somewhere with the Queen. I made a longer explanatory post here if you want. 🙂
Also Brown can’t exactly be talking about real!Ciel here, since the subject was “what did our!Ciel do in Germany”. It would make no sense of Brown to casually drop a comment about the twin when they were talking about Ciel bringing Sieglinde back and hiding a very deadly war weapon, in my opinion.

Hi Anon! I mean that’s literally what I tried to get across in my answer to @hamliet‘s post. xD Sorry for making it confusing, haha.
So yeah, we probably will at some later point because, as @sentrakk explained before, Mutsuki and Urie have a dynamic that has all the requirements to possibly end up in romance, just like it happened with Kaneki/Touka before.
However, as I was saying, I think it’s a good thing that Urie’s confession won’t be for now, considering that Mutsuki has a lot of work to do about themselves and mostly…
…if we want Mutsuki to ever consider Urie’s feelings then, not only do they need to accept who they are, but they also need to move on from their one-sided crush towards Haise.
So, no worries, we’ll get to Urie’s confession at some point, just like we’ll get to a confession for AyaHina, probably for NakiMiza (since I don’t think they’re dead), maybe for Seiaki (or SeiAkirAmon?) as well as Matsurie too. Hell, even Kaneki and Touka haven’t told each other “I love you” yet, so it’s allllllll going to be for later, when Mutsuki is ready to hear it, don’t you worry about that. :)))
