how he went from “he’s just a pawn” and “i want to see him lose” to “I won’t have you making light of my butler” and “you did well today” and “i’m counting on you”

actually genuinely trusting him, worrying abt him, defending him, caring abt him. 

Sebastian was probably the one he felt closest to

and then he tries to fucking eat him 

which probably made Ciel go oh yeah. guess i got too comfortable
