Okay but can we all give a huge round of applause for Sashas parents for not succumbing to revenge and taking their anger out on Gabi. Here we have them face to face with the person who killed their daughter and have every right to feel bitterness and hatred towards her.
And what do they do?
They take responsibility for how screwed up their world is by admitting that the faults and tragedies that continue to repeat themselves time and time again, is because Adults have continuously sent children to hell without taking any responsibility for themselves. Something we’ve seen plenty of with characters like, Annie, Eren, Reiner, so much tragedy and pain experienced by children when they shouldn’t have to go through that in the first place.
Here, in a world where we see plenty of hatred, violence and rage. They choose kindness. They choose mercy. A shining example that there is still good in humanity, even when things get bad.
Étiquette : this tho
I know i scream about him too much, but I’m honestly so damn pleased with how Hak is handled as a character.
Like… he’s a guy with a decade-long unrequited love and not only does he not act bitter or petty that it is unrequited, he’s just genuinely fine just being friends with Yona. Sure, at times it makes him a little sad, but he never blames her and always respects her feelings. And like, even though he’s a big tease that says things to get a rise out of people, you’ll notice he doesn’t make fun of anyone for the things they’re genuinely insecure about. He doesn’t mock Yona’s hair or Jaeha’s foot, he doesn’t badmouth the dragon brotherhood to Kija, and he doesn’t tease the very socially-awkward Shinah about anything.
And any romantic rivals he’s got? Yeah, he befriends pretty much all of them. Suwon? His best friend for years. Jaeha and Kija? Pshhh, they’re his bros. He doesn’t act jealous or possessive–I even get the impression that if Yona happened to fall for one of the other guys, he’d quietly support it the way he used to with Suwon. Any amount of over-protectiveness he had at the beginning of the series is gone and in it’s place is pride and trust. And that’s not to say he’s not still protective at all (clearly, he’s still willing to throw himself in front of an arrow for Yona), but he’s grown to respect her ability and see her as a capable equal.
Like…. Hak is honestly just such a good boy. At this point, his biggest flaw is having trouble being able to healthily express his feelings and being unaware of his worth as a person. I just love him so much okay he’s so g o od
I get it now. Speculations here.
Never trust anyone who says Gintama is a comedy. You’ll regret ever getting into it. Anyway, you should give Gintama a try, it’s a comedy and you won’t regret it.

every independence day bard is just allowed to blow up the kitchen and ciel just lets sebastian clean up after it every year

so i really want to believe kaneki spends his free time writing with an alias, drinking the coffee toukacchan makes for him, each morning, whenever he wants. playing with his little girl&teaching her new words. living peaceful memories in the countryside with his family.
oh, wait. that’s canon.
Sure, Franziska and Phoenix might not see eye-to-eye, but you better believe she’d try and whip that man into shape after he was disbarred, and then whip whoever was the fool that framed him because Phoenix Wright Might Be A Fool But He Would Never Willingly Present Forged™ Evidence
The flashbacks I would like to see are the lighthearted ones where the Phantomhives and Midfords are having dinner together and the families have to suffer through Frances and Vincent’s incessant bickering also can someone reveal already when, why, and how they decided to get Real Ciel and Lizzy engaged? Bonus if we see more little Our!Ciel and Lizzy interactions.
(please give more screen time to my faves frannie and vincent too)
my theory on Lin and Banba.
For what it’s worth for the 20 people who care. And this isn’t going to be a long post because I have no talent with that, and also I don’t want to hang myself with too long a rope because obviously I’m not that familiar with the source material.
Lin has trust issues (duh, also water is wet). He doesn’t trust anyone, he especially doesn’t trust anyone who does things which are nice for him. Whether that be compliments, or gifts, or anything like that. You see that a bit in the first arc when Banba was offering to help Lin.
Lin doesn’t really want to be indebted to others due to his trust issues, (although secretly he does crave affection and attention but that’s a whole other story). Anyways Lin dosen’t want to be indebted to anyone, but Banba has sneaked his way into doing just that for him, and Lin’s not quite sure how to handle that.
I think Banba completely understands Lin’s insecurity and trust issues, because I always got the sense that for all Banba’s ‘I’m this big dork’ thing, which isn’t entirely an act because yeah he is a dork…but I digress, for all that he does the dorky thing Banba is really good at reading other people. He knows that Lin is uncomfortable with the help he’s offered, he knows that Lin doesn’t deal well with compliments – so Banba always couches his niceness and regard for Lin with jokes, and backhanded compliments etc. I don’t think Banba’s bickering with Lin, (at least some of it) is as casual as you think, I think Banba is really calculated in making sure he doesn’t push too hard to freak Lin out. To push Lin so far that he’d run.
That’s my thoughts. I think Banba might have issues (upon which I can’t even begin to speculate because I don’t know), but that despite that, or maybe because of it, he’s also got a fair amount of emotional intelligence, which he uses quite effectively with Lin (okay maybe not so much with baseball, but you know what I mean).
Anyway, if I’m right in my assessment, I think that shows how incredibly nice Banba is. And I’m pretty glad Lin managed to stumble across Banba when he was most vulnerable with his sister’s death, because I’m sure that there are a lot of people in that business who would have fucked up Lin well and truly.
