Hello, i wanted to ask you sth that happened in TG. During the anteiku raid, right before tatara+noro’s encounter with takizawa, tatara says that « the King is going to pass, make way! ». As we now know from the latest chapter, eto isnt the king. This is like a crack theory of mine but do you think he was talking about hide and what are your thoughts on this matter.

Hey there 🙂 Ah I’m sorry, but I don’t think for now that Hide is related to the One Eyed King of Aogiri in any shape or form. 

My thoughts on Hide are that he is a member of the Washuu family, probably an illegitimate son of Yoshitoki for reasons many people pointed out before. 🙂 (if you don’t know about the theory you should check out @sans-san‘s blog, they have many amazing theories on Hide!)

As for Eto and the One Eyed King in the chapter you mentioned…

With the new chapter in mind, it sure is an interesting moment, thanks for reminding me of this. I personally believe he’s referring to Eto in this scene because…

• For all you know, Eto could be lying in the new chapter
• Or she just decided recently to explain who was the OEK for her which is why Tatara calls her that in ch141 because he genuinely thought it was her
• Or Tatara knows Eto isn’t the OEK in ch141 but still considers her to be his King because she’s indeed Aogiri’s founder. Hence why he’d call her that. 

What Eto said in the last chapter is very tricky, because there are three ways this could go:

• She was lying for an unknown reason (and I don’t believe it too much but I had to mention the possibility)
• The OEK for her is that OEG from a century ago who was the reason V and the Washuus became allies which is why the CCG was created. She learned about him, thought he was impressive and built Aogiri with him in mind as inspiration (as a spiritual leader if you want).
  That would explain the skeleton representation:

• Or Eto really was the OEK until the last arc when Kaneki won against her, making him the new OEK in her mind because he was stronger. 🙂 

These are my thoughts on the matter, sorry but I think Hide’s character is involved on the CCG side of the story, not on the Aogiri side, if that makes any sense. As for Eto and the OEK I’m waiting for more info to make my mind on whether she meant Kaneki or that ghoul from one century ago, if she wasn’t lying.
