Phi: I’m sorry for all the stuff I said.
Sigma: And for punching me in the face, right?
Phi: No, you definitely deserved that.
Étiquette : vlr
Sigma: If I can state my personal opinion-
Phi: No. Don’t.

Virtue’s Last Reward’s Flowchart
It’s finally done! My tablet broke down so I spent some long time doing this picture to celebrate Zero Time Dilema’s upcoming release.
I hope it didn’t get too complicated to understand, I wanted to recompile details from the game, such as the teams, the fate of every character in every ending, the escape rooms everyone visits in every branch… And even how many times each character goes into a colored door with all the rest of the cast!
I hope too this serves as a guide to everyone, so if you see something wrong please make me know.
If you have troubles
with the full-size try this.
Have a nice trust!
Ultimate Zero escape task: Rank the characters in terms of fashion sense (Yes you can count reappearing characters as separate entities).
We know from the games that Akane has a rather dirty and crude humor, I like to think she often jokes about her own death and Aoi doesn’t like it one bit
but I’m bad at jokes
Zero Escape Timeline
MAJOR SPOILERS FOR 999 AND VLR OBVIOUSLY
Okay, we all know that century-spanning multiple-timeline time-travel stories can get confusing. And ZE is no exception. And with ZTD coming up, I’m guessing most people will be wanting to brush up on the intrigue that ZTD will almost certainly plop us down right in the middle of. A little while ago, I put together a timeline of all the major events in ZE (and in real life referenced in ZE) for my own reference – but now, with ZE relevant again and building hype, I thought I’d share!
April 14, 1912 – The Titanic hits an iceberg and sinks.
1912, later – Lord Gordain buys the Allice mummy on the black market in New York.
February 1914 – The Gigantic is launched.
December 1915 – The Gigantic is put into service as a hospital ship for WWI.
November 1916 – The Gigantic hits a mine and runs aground; she is decommissioned. Lord Gordain buys the Gigantic.
1920 – Glycerin crystallizes for the first time en route to England.
1923-1943 – Brother is born in this range, probably?
1931 – Lord Gordain dies.
late 1970s – EDT crystals start to form hydrates.
1977 – Gentarou Hongou is born.
1981 – Rupert Sheldrake publishes A New Science of Life: The Hypothesis of Morphic Resonance.

2012-2015 – The accident that leaves Light blind, and the deaths of the Kurashiki parents, happen somewhere in here.
June 2018 – The last time Junpei and Akane got to see each other and just be friends together like normal people.
November 2018 – FIRST NONARY GAME
2018-2027 – Seven tangles with Free the Soul and gets those scars on his face somewhere in here.
2023 – Aoi turns 20, the age of legal adulthood in Japan, and is legally able to trade bonds and be a stockbroker and earn real money. Presumably this is also when the Crash Keys are formed, and Akane and Aoi start putting together the second nonary game.
April 2024 – Junpei enters college and moves into that apartment.

January 2074 – THIRD NONARY GAME (EVENTS OF VLR)
me first playing vlr: wow what a bitch
me after playing vlr: OH.
Alright, I’ve been meaning to bring this up.
I’ve jokingly discussed the probability of Sigma’s cat tic being a future plot point and more seriously discussed the problematic and fetishistic commentary he makes—however, the other day I was looking into something and read up on Witzelsucht.
Witzelsucht is a mental disability “characterized by a tendency to make puns, or tell inappropriate jokes or pointless stories in socially inappropriate situations. A less common symptom is hypersexuality, the tendency to make sexual comments at inappropriate times or situations. Patients do not understand that their behavior is unnatural, therefore are nonresponsive to others’ reactions. “
Witzelsucht is a direct effect of head trauma, primarily on the right lobe. Sigma doesn’t seem to understand the eccentricity behind the “magical cat story” he often tells, claiming that it was simply an incident that took place as a child, while also constantly being unresponsive to any sort of humor that isn’t his own —his hypersexuality and blatant disregard for the female cast’s discomfort with his commentary is also pretty contrary to his empathy and perception of others’ emotions, a recurring theme throughout Sigma’s narrative is how he constantly notices the emotions those around him are expressing, which is a key component to his character. It’s just not entirely logical.
I don’t know what could’ve happened exactly, but it’s food for thought nonetheless. The prospect of Sigma being neuroatypical is also pretty interesting in itself. Head trauma could be connected to events in ZE3, so hey, who knows. EDIT: Also important to recognize that the eye injury Sigma has post ZE3/VLR is seemingly on the left side of his face, but from his perspective, it would be his RIGHT side. Meaning that he did suffer a blow to the right side of his head in canon.
