grumpyciel:

Say what you will but I cannot fucking stand Edward Midford, idgaf how much he loves his sister, the fact that he treats his own cousin who has been through such a horrifying and traumatic experience like shit is so beyond unacceptable to me. Like this kid had his entire family killed (I don’t think Edward knows he was taken by a cult but the kid was missing for weeks so he knows SOMETHING HAPPENED) and yet this piece of shit still treats him, his own family this way. Obviously he also didn’t care about his aunt or uncle because if he had the slightest amount of respect for them he wouldn’t treat their son so poorly.
So basically fuck Edward Midford, that asshole can choke 🙂

“he treats his own cousin who has been through such a horrifying and traumatic experience like shit”

“this piece of shit still treats him, his own family this way.”

“Obviously he also didn’t care about his aunt or uncle because if he had the slightest amount of respect for them he wouldn’t treat their son so poorly.”

There. I only need two panels to overthrow your so-called “facts” which are in fact hiding your biased hatred towards a fictional character who does give a lot of shit about his cousin.

And since apparently you’ve been misreading the manga, here have some more:

Welcome to the world of manga: Ed is what’s called a tsundere and a siscon, which doesn’t equal to wickedly mistreating his cousin or disliking him.

Please don’t get me wrong OP: if you wanna hate on Ed, be my guest and knock yourself out. However, at least be brave enough to just admit you are biased and don’t have any real reason to shit on him, because canon already disproved your so-called “facts” long ago.

You people will do anything to defend Ishida. No wonder the quality of writing go downhill.

Yeah Anon, obviously we have a direct impact on the direction the story is taking because Ishida-sensei consults with us, his true fans at heart, daily.
LMAO seriously some of the worst reasoning I’ve seen.

I’m not even going to reply to a single thing you said and you know why? Because you haven’t listened to a single thing that I said the other day, so you disliking the story’s recent turns is none of my problems and I certainly won’t debate with you.

Make sure to hear me this time, because I won’t say it again a third time: you have a right to your opinion, even if it’s a negative one, it’s natural that we all have things we like and dislike, but I don’t have to bear with your negativity when you’re aggressive and I happen to enjoy the series.

The reason that I’m angry with you is that you don’t have a single consideration towards my opinion or the content I want to see on my blog, and it’s so disrespectful that I’m not entitled to any sort of proper behavior where you’re concerned.
So find someone who thinks like you, there definitely are some readers who do and talk to them, write why you dislike the recent events on your own blog, or if you don’t want to do either go sulk quietly, but my askbox is not your personal stage for angry outbursts at the story or Ishida-sensei.

I’m always open for debate Anon, it’s written everywhere on my blog and I even had one

earlier this week about the same points that you are raising, but a debate is started pleasantly with arguments at the ready, which is different from you coming to insult Ishida-sensei in my askbox when the least I ask of people using the askbox is to be civil.

So you can harp about me being biased about Ishida-sensei all you want, but the real reason I won’t answer you is that you chose to be aggressive about your opinion from the beginning and this is something I will never stomach on my blog.

Seriously sloppy writing by Ishida with Roma character.

Seriously annoying messages by anonymous jerks with absolutely no regard to my numerous warnings that I don’t give two fucks about their negative opinion, as I have every right to do seeing as it is my blog.

This is funny you know, I was criticized lately that I was too ambiguous sometimes and that it was the reason I found myself bothered with unwanted consequences, so I hope, for your sake and mine, that this time it was clear enough.

And just in case it wasn’t: take your complaints about Roma, Eto, Itori, Kaneki, Touka, Ishida and shove them somewhere far different from my askbox.
There are plenty of people who love to shit on Ishida’s writing, so your obvious lack of care towards my personal appreciation of him and of his work gives me no more reason to waste any of my time on you.

There is a limit to the indecency I can take, especially when I judge that I’m I was kind enough to leave my askbox constantly open to be bothered by the likes of you.

Literally After touken became canon all the haters rises or more like they become even more aggressive. I was in naruto and bleach fandom before and it was hell, too much hate especially right after the pairing became canon. I just want to enjoy tg in peace and now in the tag i see those haters/antis since i follow tg and touken tag

Honestly Anon, I really hesitated to answer you (no offense) because I have no idea why you chose to complain to me about those haters. :/
Still no offense, but I hope you also realize that the more you openly complain about them, the more you give them what they want because you show that they’re getting to you, and so if you really want to enjoy TG in peace, well, you should simply do so, by starting to ignore them.

If there is one thing fandom experience should put into your head with a hammer, it is that you will never be able to make everyone agree on anything, especially on the matter of ships for the main characters.
Starting from there, why do you even care about how haters act or what they say? Why not simply enjoy TG and the development of Kaneki and Touka with other open-minded fans, instead of focusing on the ones who don’t agree with you?

I know and I understand why it’s hard sometimes to simply close your eyes when it’s making you mad, but try to think of bloggers who aren’t just bothered in the tags but also in their askbox. If it’s just the tags, you have means to deal with it, starting by blocking all the hating blogs if you can’t ignore them.

TG is not your first fandom experience apparently, so just learn from what you’re experimenting and complaining about, because all the fandoms are similar: one day, TG will end and the tags will die. Until then though, people will keep on complaining about every little thing that they don’t like (be it characters, ships, writing) because that’s just how Western fandoms are. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I cannot stress this point enough though, it is the same thing in every fandom  and as much as I can understand how annoying haters can be, if you don’t start to ignore them instead of complaining, then you’re playing right into their hands and you’ll be bothered for the rest of TG, as well as for other series that you’ll discover later. And I don’t know, I’m not you, but I’m not sure that it is what you want your enjoyment of a series with a fandom to be like.

Finally, I must say this, one reason I really dislike this kind of asks (not that it’s your fault, you couldn’t have known, but just please hear me out for next time) is that it’s easy to complain about haters when:

  • Some Kaneki/Touka fans can be as disrespectful towards other ships or characters or plot developments as these haters you are complaining about and I find this to be really ironic and hypocritical.
  • Some fans complain about hatred everywhere and how unbearable it is, but I follow the ‘Kanetou’ tag that I often check on mobile (so no filter) and I haven’t seen hatred in there since even before ch122 (maybe I’m jinxing it with this answer though xD).
  • Haters aren’t everything to this fandom and by acknowledging them you’re basically ignoring all the great blogs that managed to detach themselves from the annoying content in the tags -> so if the tags are hard to live through for you, then simply leave the tags for a little while and focus on following cool and respectful people.

I hope you understand that I’m not angry at you or anything, it’s just that I really couldn’t care less about those haters. My dash has been haters/hatred free for a long while now and I follow many different people for many different series which all have a part of the fandoms prone to hating, so it’s just about learning to make your blogging environment what you want it to be.

Anon, you gotta learn to coexist with them within the same fandom because, no matter what you do, they won’t disappear until TG ends, but acknowledging them is basically just giving them the feeling that their hating posts are working so… bad idea. xD

Go enjoy TG in peace Anon and don’t bother with haters. 😉

Why do you like Elizabeth???? She’s the most disgusting female character in the whole series, both anime and manga. I hope she dies soon enough!

thedarkestcrow:

thedarkestcrow:

Whoa, that’s quite harsh. O_o I mean, sure, you can dislike a character but calling Lizzy ‘disgusting’…? Why…?

I like Lizzy because she’s one of the sweetest, most caring, badass and selfless characters in Kuro. Throughout almost all her life she put Ciel’s happiness above her own. And even though Ciel now tries to keep her at a distance she doesn’t give up on him – on the contrary. She wants to give him back his happiness but accepts that he doesn’t talk to her about his secrets even though that pains her.

She trained hard to fight with a sword in order to be able to protect him.

But since she wanted to be a ‘proper lady’ and the role model of a wife for Ciel she never showed him that side of her and was the person she thought Ciel wanted her to be.

She was always cheerful around Ciel and didn’t want to bother him with her own sorrows. She adjusted her whole life so that Ciel would be happy. She deeply cares for Ciel and always has.

For her young age she has many burdens to bear and because she doesn’t want Ciel to worry she keeps them to herself. Maybe that’s what caused her going to Bravat’s sect in the first place.

So there are many reasons why I like Lizzy! See also at all these posts.

Anon, I refer you to my answer above and to the links I’ve given about why Lizzy clearly cares for Ciel and why she’s the last person I would call selfish.

About the current arc, I think we can all agree that Lizzy didn’t stay only because of Bravat’s sweet words. Lizzy obviously isn’t happy in that sect.

She’s confused and desperate.

She’s troubled deeply. She was always worried about Ciel but as I explained above she never wanted to burden him with her sorrows because she cares about him. And that’s probably the case now, as well.

We don’t yet know the exact reason why she is with the cult but I’m absolutely certain that she still cares deeply about Ciel. Her reason for running away from Ciel, back to the cult, is probably the same why she joined the cult in the first place and it’s not because she changed her mind and doesn’t care about Ciel anymore.
