Hey, in the newest chapter we saw how Tsukiyama pierced his kagune trough sasaki’s kagune. Doesn’t that kind of indicate that Sasaki is weaker than Kaneki. Because we all know that Kaneki’s kagune is as hard as steel and is hard to break?

Nah, not that I know of…? (but I could be totally wrong, when was it ever said that Kaneki’s kagune was hard as steel? Eating Yamori strengthened it for sure but Sasaki’s Kagune should be in the same state, especially considering how high his RC cells rate is?)

We now know thanks to Eto that a Kagune’s form is mostly because of the ghoul’s imagination but when it comes to Sasaki’s kagune I don’t think it’s weaker than Kaneki and I don’t think that Sasaki is weaker than Kaneki either.

For now all I can say is that Sasaki is less crazy than Kaneki until the Anteiku raid arc was. I mean, we haven’t seen the Centipede yet, which means all we saw in :Re is his Kagune and not the half-Kakuja form driven by his deepest sadness, madness and overwhelming need to protect people he loves (in order not to be left alone), so even though Kakujas are crazier and stronger, I really think that Sasaki and Kaneki from the Anteiku raid arc have the same strength. 🙂

And Tsukiyama seems to agree as well…

But that’s just me, especially since I can’t remember when it was said that his Kagune was as hard as steel (does Anon or anyone else have a link?).

Sorry it doesn’t help so much, Anon. :/

The Souta/Furuta Theory

littlemissymonster:

Just a few thoughts on the probability and and possibilities of this newly formed theory.

@littlemissymonster

Nice post! Thank you for that. There is also that little part in ch35 when Furuta plays decoy and mentions his “damned boss” and then when Kijima asked if that was him, the answer is “no”.

Considering that there is now a possibility that Furuta = Souta, I’m thinking that that little part about a “boss” in ch35 is a hint towards his true identity. Obviously only the boss of the Clowns is the one who’d order Souta to join the Ghoul restaurant or the CCG, so while Ishida could have chosen any other words for decoy!Furuta in ch35, the fact he mentioned a “boss”, like Uta did in ch31.5, is now really suspicious.

That would also explain how the Clowns and Itori have so much info about the CCG, because as Mutsuki and Suzuya guessed, only a mole could pass so much info from the inside.

The question is in case he’s Souta how was he able to fool the CCG (and the detectors)? I’m impressed.

((I also agree with your reasoning about why Touka met Furuta at Kamii. The Clowns always kept an eye on Kaneki after all. Thanks for the great post))

Furuta: Well… its fine though
