Hey Anon! First of all, Amon = Yoshimura’s kakuhou not Rize so the “Rize” experiment…
probably don’t have to do with Amon. 😉
As for the Rize experiment in itself, I’ve already given my thoughts so please read this All I can add to these, after a discussion with @kaizutoh, is that there is an alternative to the CCG getting their hands on Rize or on a copy of her kakuhou and it is that maybe “Rize” is referring to some sort of “program” supposedly giving birth to pure full bred ghouls?
Either because that’s how some kids from the Garden (like Rize, hence the name?) were born or simply…
it has to do with those ghoulification operations that the CCG used to/still do. And in that case the “Rize” name could have to do with the fact Rize is the first whose kakuhou managed to “give birth” to one of the most powerful OEGs (Kaneki).
TL;DR
the CCG have Rize
OR they have a copy of Rize’s kakuhou somehow
OR “Rize” is meant to be a program giving birth to some particular children from the Garden (like Rize herself maybe)?
OR “Rize” is a program with the purpose of developing ghoulification experiments and it’s called Rize because it’s thanks to using Rize’s kakuhou that Kanou managed to succeed with his first and so far best experiment, namely Kaneki.
That’s all I have so far so I hope it answers your question! Have a nice day Anon 🙂
It’s very cool isn’t it? We’ve seen mouths and eyes but Uta can construct whole faces and possibly other body parts. That’s a good point. There was a lot of things that pointed to it actually there’s the mask..
How Uta could sneak into the CCG prison and keep in contact with Donato as well as know about things like the raid…
The name “No face” as if he has no true face, or can change it.
The instance with the Arima mask I remember everyone was arguing at the time of that chapter whether he brought or actually changed his face..
Also think about this considering Shinohara has a different body type it might be more than his face he can change… Perhaps Uta can control and spread his Kagune all over his body like a very well finessed kakuja armor.
RC cells can change like stem cells to fix any part of a ghoul’s body it seems like Uta can possibly control the cells at such a level he can make them into other’s mock likeness.
Of course This is just speculation until we know more but it’s cool…..
Lol Anon xD Is it an appreciative “oh”? ‘Cause he certainly looks A+ fine in that tube haha!
That being said, I’m very happy that he’s back (and that Kaneki finally knows that Amon is not dead), especially since,
after being used to important characters disappearing for a long time (Hide, Rize and Itori namely), I wasn’t expecting him to come back that soon. 😀
Poor Amon though…. after everything he did for the CCG as an investigator, that’s how he’s being repaid…
The good point is that, since Seidou is here, if things go well they’ll both be able to go back to Akira 😀 The less good point though is that I feel a fight is coming and so I hope Amon won’t kill anyone (I fear for Seidou the most).
Thanks for passing by and have a nice weekend Anon!
Hello Anon! Ah, yes, it’s definitely written “re”…
Not that I am that surprised, since it was foreshadowed before that there could be other “kings” besides Kaneki and Furuta, and Amon definitely was a likely candidate because he’s such an important character. Still, that’s very interesting and I can’t wait to see where Amon will fit on the chessboard 🙂
About the tubes with Rize written on them though…
For now I really don’t know what to make of this because Amon’s kakuhou came from Yoshimura, so “Rize” would mean that…
the CCG somehow got their hands on Rize (which would explain why she was nowhere to be seen recently) and it might have happened after Shachi was defeated by Arima?
the CCG somehow got their hands on some sort of copy of Rize’s kakuhou to experiment on those poor kids, but if that’s the case…
that means that this copy came from Kanou’s work and I don’t know why he would have given it to the CCG
unless someone else gave it to the CCG but the question is who and why?
I hope someone (like Dr. Chigyou?) will explain and I also hope someone will free those poor kids… I mean, we knew already that the lab would be the biggest proof of the CCG being a crazy organization but still, poor Amon, poor kids and probably poor Arata…
Let’s wait and see Anon, thanks for passing by and have a nice weekend 🙂
Hey Anon! Ah, there is no problem with asking, though I’m not sure myself at this point 🙂
So, Kanou said about Amon: “After RC-count reached 10,000, an RC suppressing medicine was administered to the subject. Further increase not observed. Further drug administration suspended. Writing off “A-OWL” as a failure. Experiment closed.Although from a theoretical value standpoint it’s great that the case’s specimen was able to become a kakuja. If he was at least able to control it, that is.”
But the thing is, Amon fought really harshly against Urie on Rushima, to the point of using his kakuja…
And since he’s been in the lab for over a month, I think it’s safe to say that they’ve been experimenting on him, which would explain…
…why they would have needed a large quantity of Rc suppressants over the past month, seeing as Amon initially wasn’t stabilized and couldn’t control his kakuja.
Now about Amon fighting against Kaneki, Seidou, Kurona and Ayato, well I think it’s possible, if just because…
…that researcher seemed to believe that releasing him would save her and her comrades.
Maybe he won’t recognize them because of the drugs? I can’t really say for sure right now, but unless Ishida wants to troll everyone and have Amon be like “oh it’s you guys? let’s scram” in the next chapter, I think we can expect a fight one way or another, with Amon being probably more powerful/stabilized than he was on Rushima (otherwise that wouldn’t be… funny).
That’s all I have in mind so far Sorry if that doesn’t help so much…
Have a nice weekend!
Hey Anon! And same 😀 even if to be honest after Hide, Itori and Rize being absent for so long, I really wasn’t expecting him to come back so soon!
I’m glad he is back though and I agree, between Kaneki and Seidou’s presence at the lab and Donato raising havoc in the streets, it’s likely Amon will have some meaningful encounters during this arc (I really want Donato to see him escaping the lab somehow).
Hopefully he’ll go back with Seidou to Akira though :3 I really like those three together!
Have a nice weekend Anon! 🙂
Hey Anon! Ah actually I already spoke about this earlier, so just look above, that’s the second answer on this post. 😉
Have a nice weekend.
To be quite honest, now that we’ve seen a little of what Donato (dat man is crazy)…
and Uta can do…
I have to admit I am a bit worried about seeing Nico in a fight. Not that they would have to be literally stronger than Donato or Uta, but we already know that they’re hard to really harm…
So I am wondering if they might not have other… tricks or “jokes” up their sleeve, like Uta and Donato.
Since Uta went to face Juuzou and co on the front side though, maybe Nico went to fight against Matsuri at the rear?
I can’t wait! ^_^
PS: where’s Itori and will we ever see her fighting?
Hey Anon 🙂 Back during the Aogiri arc when Tsukiyama joked he was going to run away xD
But then again, considering Uta’s peculiar sense of humor it’s probably better that Yomo doesn’t laugh too much at his… “jokes”. ^^
Have a nice weekend Anon 🙂
Hey Anon! Okay so, in both cases, he…
…touched his face just before, so I’m thinking the whole trick has to do with putting something on his face and not just randomly shifting appearances.
Maybe it has to do with his Kagune?
Because it has a peculiar shape and what looks like holes and we know that a Kagune can take on different shapes and forms depending on the ghoul’s creativity and imagination so…as an artist and mask maker, maybe by using his Kagune, that’s how he does it?
In any case, his nickname of “No Face” is literally perfect. 🙂
I’m pretty sure we will get an explanation at some point, but for now that’s all I have in mind for an explanation.
Have a nice weekend Anon!
Hey Anon! Ah well, maybe?
Considering that Juuzou himself got taken into this “illusion”, I’d say it’s likely Uta found a way to slightly modulate his voice, even if that would mean remembering about Shinohara’s tone of voice, when the guy hasn’t spoken in 4 years.
Uta is a grown up man though, so maybe there wasn’t a real need to completely change his voice.
Aaaaah, Uta is definitely an amazing actor, but that’s really pushing it on the sadistic level of dark humor. xD Poor Juuzou…
Sorry I can’t give you a better answer, but please have a nice weekend Anon! 🙂
Hey Anon! And nah, I’m pretty sure he isn’t (remember his regenerative abilities back during the auction arc against Hirako?) 🙂 The last we see of him is this panel…
But he’ll be back, either to fight Suzuya’s squad again or to fight someone else. 🙂
Don’t worry Anon, besides he barely even fought so that’s certainly not the last time we see him 😉
Have a nice weekend!
Hey Anon! Ah, actually Uta didn’t really show any sigh of being an Ukaku for now…
…seeing as Ukaku would mean a Kagune coming from the shoulder blades…
so considering the two panels above I’d say Uta for now showed signs of being a Koukaku. 🙂
Though I am also wondering if he wouldn’t have several Kakuhou yes (for example maybe he could also be a Rinkaku considering his outstanding regenerative abilities?), but for now, he mostly showed signs of being a Koukaku (which fits with the fact that he’s from the diamond suit in the TG trump cards deck). 🙂
