Naki: What’s this “Kumasussu” you’re talking about? What are bears doing there? (TN: “kuma” is “bear”)
Hooguro: It’s a day where you have a party with your family, go on a date with your lover, and so on.
Naki: I see. Then we’ll do one too! Because we’re just like family!
Naki: So, how many bears do you think we’ll need? This many? (14 bears above his head)
Hooguro: We don’t need any bears.

Hooguro: Santa is a red-coloured grandpa who leaves presents by your side while you sleep.
Naki: No way, isn’t that really dangerous?!
Hooguro: It’s okay. He just drops the presents and leaves right after.
Hooguro: You have to write down the thing that you really want on a piece of paper, and send it as a letter. And then on the night of the 24th, if you leave a stocking by your bedside, on the morning of the 25th, the old man will leave you that thing you really wanted.
Naki: Ohh.
Some time later…
Shousei: Hooguro. Did Aniki write it down? What he wants.
Hooguro: …um.
Naki’s handwriting is almost illegible.
Shousei: “Ohagi…u”?
Hooguro: I think that says “keyaki” though…
(Correct answer is “cigar set”).

Miza is sleeping when she wakes up.
Miza: …Nghh……!?
She sees Naki in the doorway.
Naki: …
Miza: W-what is it, Naki? You surprised me there.
Naki sits down next to Miza.
Naki: Miza, do you know who this “Sumasukkusu” referee is?
Miza: “Sumasukkusu”…? No…I don’t. (What the hell is that)
Naki: It’s a red monster called a Manta that ambushes you in your sleep.
Miza: …a manta? (thinks of a manta ray)
Naki: Let’s turn the tables on them!
Miza: Ah?…Ahh.
Miza (thinking): I don’t know what’s going on, but if I’m next to Naki, then…

Shousei is in a Santa outfit, and Hooguro is in a reindeer costume.
Shousei: Let’s go, Hooguro. I brought the ohagi. (TN: “ohagi” is a rice ball coated in sweetened red bean, soybean flour or sesame.)
Hooguro: Gatten. I brought the hayaki too. (TN: “hayagi” may mean “fast spirit”.)
They barge into the room.
Shousei and Hooguro: MERRY CHRISTMAS!! MERRY ANIKIIIIIIIIIII!!!
Naki and Miza are dozing off.
Miza: Oh…oh. What the…
Naki: *snore*
Shousei: Excuse us for interrupting while you were making a child. (Nice present)
Miza: That’s not…! And what the hell is a “Sumasukkusu”supposed to be!
(this is for all anons in my inbox with this question)
Tsukiyama and Uta: please reread the manga (so many people have asked for a specific instance for Uta (besides eating dick lollies, even though he was literally sucking on a dick; how much clearer can you even get) that I’ll remind y’all about Uta flirting with both Shirazu and Urie).
Mayu (Nutcracker): remember her French-kissing that female investigator? Before that Mayu was like “you’re really pretty”. Usually complimenting someone and then kissing them implies attraction (and then Mayu ate her tongue, oh well).
As for people who want “100% confirmation”: we won’t have it. We definitely don’t have 100% confirmation that anyone is straight, either, but that doesn’t stop anyone from assuming so. On the same basis we shouldn’t dismiss those words and actions as “joking” (since Ishida doesn’t joke about LGBT matters in a harmful or demeaning way; among other things, he used to read yaoi, so I don’t think he would).
The Blade Miza’s talking to addresses her as “Sister”. Going by the later admission that all of the Blades were Miza’s relatives, I’m pretty sure she was literally that ghoul’s sibling.
Shousei’s wordplay when Naki meets Miza hints at his studious personality. Shousei says, “He’s talking about orientating, bro.” Naki: “Coeducating?” Shousei: “No, that’s a fun activity when boys and girls study together.”
When talking about his reason for joining the White Suits, Shousei says “惹かれる”, which, when said about people, means “drawn to”, “attracted to”, “captivated by” (usually romantic/sexual attraction). I’ve talked about LGBT representation in Ishida’s works before, so I’ll just leave it here.
When Shousei says, “We brothers might be fools”, he uses the specific word for the tarot card The Fool.
On seeing Yasuhisa Hanbee notes that she gives off a “miasma” and “a ghastly aura”. Miasma is a very specific word; Kurona could smell rotting if she didn’t eat Nashiro as I originally thought but perhaps sewed (part of?) her to herself or otherwise still carries Nashiro with her.
Hobby: collecting pretty fireflies, sketching flowers and plants
Hope: to avenge the Bin brothers
Hate: Amon Koutarou
(there’s an a/n on the bottom of the page, but it’s cut off. Looks like we should count given ages from January – I wonder if they mean the real January or TG January? Because it’s already December for them, which will make them all a year older. But I really can’t say until I see the whole sentence)
