You mean, in absolute shambles? Regardless whether he has time for it or no, Ishida likes romance, so we’re getting some. Mostly on the sidelines, like Miza being in love with Naki or the inexplicable wedding of Yoriko and Takeomi, but it’s there.
I’m hoping for a (relatively) happy ending for Miza and Naki, actually! Still mostly certain they’ll both survive. Then, Nishiki and Kimi seem to be a big couple in terms of the plot, they’ve gotten a fair share of spotlight.
I don’t know what he wants for Touka and Kaneki: on the one hand, Ishida clearly positioned them as a romantic couple, on the other hand, Kaneki seriously doesn’t have neither time nor mental capacity for a healthy relationship right now.
I wonder about Akira as well. In TG her clear romantic interest was Amon, but since they haven’t met in TG:re yet I’ve no idea what Ishida has in store for them.
Sure Anon, of course it’s okay to ship both 🙂 Being a multishipper is a good thing and I’m a multishipper too, except that in the case of Ciel’s character, I only ship him with Lizzie and no one else (I ship Lizzie with other characters though). ^^
It’s hard to explain really, because I do have a few yaoi pairings (in Kuroshitsuji I mean) but I just don’t ship Seb with humans, except for Frances and Irene Diaz mainly I think.
I just don’t… ship Seb romantically with humans is what I should say, even in the case of Frances/Seb or Irene/Seb, because I just don’t think he would ever feel that way. So I like
Seb’s interest in a few humans in particular, but in Ciel’s case, I like how they’re trying to have a balanced duo (even if the relationship got strained since the last arc) so I’m not looking for anything besides them being sassy at each other.

HideKane -> platonic OTP ‘cause I value friendship as much as romance, even more sometimes depending on the characters. I think it’s great there are so many Hidekane shippers around, but while it’s cool to have someone to love, I think it’s as cool or even better to have people you can trust with your life and sanity, even if they’re not particularly the one you’ll fall in love with. That’s how I see Hide and Kaneki right now but that’s probably because myself I’ll do anything for my closest friends.
TouKen (or Tousaki for that matter) -> romantic OTP for lots of reasons I won’t bore you with (I’m sure you know why Touken shippers exist) although I’d say getting a good idea of what their feelings towards each other are right now besides confusion would be difficult, hahaha. Still they give me a lot of feels and I really like whatever interactions they have (+ Touka being one of the few characters who really understands Kaneki) so they’re cuties :3
EtoKen -> Hmhm, complicated but incredibly interesting relationship to say the least, though if Eto is still alive at the end of the arc (something I believe in) I could see it becoming some kind of mentor/student dynamic (or a mom/son one in Kaneki’s head) with maybe some unrequited feelings on Eto’s side if they work together for a while. Kaneki is hard to read on this one because Eto is Eto from Aogiri but also Takatsuki Sen and Yoshimura’s daughter so… I’m really interested to see how this will develop if they stay side by side in the next arcs.
Lmao oh Anon 🙂 I explained before that I have “serious” ships that I could see becoming canon (Ciel/Lizzie is one of them) and “crack” ships that are in fact 95% of my shipping list for Kuroshitsuji, because
I’m one hell of a multishipper
a lot of characters interact with each other, therefore that’s why I have a lot of crack ships because there is a lot of interactions that I truly enjoy
it’s funnier that way
Basically, while I ship Ciel with Lizzie only, I find Lizzie to be an extremely shipable character and as such I “crack ship” her with a lot of different characters (meaning I doubt those ships could ever become an actual canon romance even though they’re all cute), like Sieglinde, Charles Grey, Soma and others whose names I shall not write down in this answer, hahahaha!
So I am rooting for Ciel/Lizzie definitely, but that doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy when Lizzie interacts with other characters 😉
Being a multishipper is really fun and healthy, try it sometimes 😀

Well, um, nothing in particular? I don’t particularly like considering people only by what they’re shipping so… there are SebaCiel shippers that I talk to who are nice, there are SebaCiel shippers I never talked to but whom I see in the tags and they’re nice, and there are others who don’t seem so nice so… It’s just impossible for me to give you a general opinion about a group of people by only considering what they ship?
In case you were wondering what I think of people who’d ship Seb and Ciel together as something not platonic because there is a lot of controversy about that ship, then I’ll just tell you that I think people should ship what they want to ship and they are not required to give an explanation as to why they ship what they want to ship.
Ships don’t make a person or a group of people Anon, please keep that in mind; if someone behaves like an ass it’s certainly not a ship’s fault but a lack of proper education. 🙂 And I also think it’s dumb to judge someone based on their preferences for fictional pairings, just saying.
