Hey Anon 🙂
Yes, I think it’s possible some parts of the anime’s plot (s1 only; s2 is, forgive my language Anon, bullshit) might show up in the manga if they were already Yana’s ideas back then, though with only a few similarities to the anime and nothing more (this is shinigami!UT in the manga vs the anime, the details aren’t the same).
For example, the Queen being behind the murders of Vincent and Rachel sounds very likely to me, especially since John Brown does have a few mannerisms that could remind us of Ash/Angela

though I don’t expect it will play out as it did in the anime (namely I think it may have to do with Albert’s death).
Something happening to Abberline who shows the same distaste towards injustice as his anime (s1) version did is also possible considering the current arc…

And also about the current arc, it has a few similarities with the arc in the anime when Lizzie was turned into a doll.
Last but not least, I’m expecting something with Lau that might turn out to be linked to the war subplot, like it was in the anime, and even if I didn’t like the anime, Lau’s episodes had quite a big impact on me and I wouldn’t mind a manga version with just a few similarities.
I just don’t think Lau will stay loyal to Ciel until the end, otherwise why write him as extremely cunning, dangerous and lurking in the shadows with an equally more worrying/possibly not human
bodyguard?
Yana-sensei has something in mind for Lau, otherwise that is just bad storytelling and character management.
As for the ending… well Ciel’s dying and Seb eating his soul remains the likeliest path for now and it would be like the ending of the anime, even if the circumstances will probably be different.
There you go Anon, on these aspects I think similarities are definitely possible if just because so far Yana wrote her characters so that it wouldn’t be surprising if such plot moves were to happen. And now we just have to wait and see 🙂
I hope it answers your question 🙂 Have a nice day 🙂
