Ishida is insane okay, we all know that so since this idea is going to haunt me until i get to read ch144, i gotta share and write it down: what if

WHAT IF

what if Ishida intends on broadening the stage for an eventual third part of TG:

(actually it works even if :Re doesn’t end xD)

Germany

China

Taiwan

Russia

And Middle east.

Because the twisted bird cage, as pointed out by Eto and Kanou, is around the whole world, not just Japan.

Like, even if Kaneki solved the issue in Japan and managed to bring coexistence there, what would the ghouls of other countries do? Run to Japan?
And then there would be a common front between all the other countries against Japan?

Think about it, it’s like a world war…

…there is even an alliance between Japan and Germany from the beginning

and a mention of Russia, through Donato => doesn’t this remind you of the beginning of WWII (we’re missing Italia and Spain tho but eh) ?

And if it’s to end, if the whole ghouls vs humans thing has to end, it has to be in more than just one country, otherwise it won’t last.

Maybe Kaneki is about to become Dragon and possibly start to kill humans and then attack Furuta in the very last chapter of :Re (?), Furuta, whose goal was maybe to make sure that Kaneki would be strong enough to face the greatest enemy => the rest of the world

If :re is ending next week, because there is apparently an annoucement coming with the next chapter (on Monday for us) and ch144 is the last chapter of vol13, then the start of an international conflict is for now the only thing that might make sense when it comes to starting a third and final part.

• Because I don’t see the manga ending right now, no way
• or Kaneki dying and Ishida changing MC, no way, not when Kaneki was always said to be the bridge between humans and ghouls
• or another trick like the amnesia and starting from the beginning, nope
• so the only thing left is for the plot and the world building to go a scale higher

So it’s not “game over” and “it’s not the end”. Maybe Furuta and the Clowns were just getting a bigger stage ready, because friendly reminder that this whole conflict started 100+ years ago: 

and that the CCG was created to take down that legendary OEG, who’s probably also the Nagaraj.

Finally, @toramarushou kindly and cleverly pointed out to me that “V” might stand for 5 countries/regions of the world that are sharing a common front and keeping the world locked tight into that bird cage:

See above, I believe Ishida might have already hinted at them. 🙂
