Narita saying how Shizuo doesn’t call Kadota a ‘friend’ despite that he trusts him a lot and that’s because Shizuo is worried that Kadota will get tangled in the troubles that Shizuo is caught up in often. As for Shinra, Shinra’s already gotten involved seral times so Shizuo ‘for now’ takes him as a ‘friend’. lol.
Shizuo is precious ;___; He’s been ignoring Kadota on the streets in season 1 and been not saying hi often because he didn’t want Kadota to get in trouble like how Tom and Shinra got in trouble ;___; (also explains why Shizuo tries to remain distant with his family and Kasuka I think)
and each episode title was like the Harry Potter series:

He wasn’t just some guy going around licking her photos and trying to kidnap her. He never even actually confronted her face to face. If he had then yeah she probably could have stood her ground against him. But Adabashi KNEW she was hollywood and wasn’t about to let himself get caught.
And besides that, he wasn’t just stalking her, he was mentally and emotionally torturing her from a distance.
Not only did he manage to break into her house but he even changed the locks so that she couldn’t get inside of it.
Camera’s only caught a masked man.
He made replica’s of all the monster’s she’s ever played in a movie and left them piled together as blood-stained cruentation crosses at her house. He then took a picture of the crime scene and posted it all over the internet.
He sent incriminating blackmail of her to her new work place.
He takes photo’s of her in private situations where he shouldn’t be near her and sends them to her.
He threatened everyone around her.
AND there are probably tons more things that he’s done but Ruri didn’t want to share all the details of this guys stalking with Shizuo.
No one, not even Ruri, can take the fear and the anxiety he was inflicting upon her. It was brave of her to even really confide in Kasuka and it took ALOT for her to be completely truthful with him.
She might be half a monster but she’s also still half human and I don’t know ANYONE who could take going through what she did.
because they are both very good for each other’s development
because shizuo considers her his precious friend
because vorona realizes that she feels something for shizuo that she can’t explain
because when she thinks of how happy she has been beside shizuo narita spends nearly a whole chapter talking about how Vorona doesn’t understand love even if it was looking her right in the face.
because he is the violence incarnate and she is the violence addict
because Shizuo doesn’t care about Vorona’s past, he only cares about what she wants for her future
because unlike every other single character in Durarara including Celty Vorona NEVER thinks of Shizuo as a monster. She has always firmly believed in the humanity of his soul.
because she, a monster who has already been stained with the blood of others, would rather kill Izaya herself to save Shizuo from becoming a monster stained in blood like her.
because the fact that she thinks of herself as a monster worries Shizuo.
because it is thanks to vorona that Shizuo is still ‘human’
because even when they are ‘enemies’ Vorona still injures herself to save him
because it was the fact that Izaya was using Vorona that made Shizuo finally and completely snap in his rage.
because they both like sweets
because when he’s with them tom always feels like a third wheel
because she completed his kouhai-senpai hierarchy without his even asking.
because it is through her interactions with Shizuo that Vorona gains the courage to face her past/father.
because Shizuo never got to thank her before she left
because they promised to see each other again so Vorona can have her fight.
because she has to stand on her tippy toes to kiss him.
because they are two very imperfect people who refuse to give up on each other
because when he finds out Izaya’s alive Shizuo is relieved to learn that vorona didn’t become a murderer for his sake.
because neither of them understand love but together they can learn to figure it out
because he’s someone who has alot of love to give and she’s someone who has never experienced it before.
because they both think the other is the epitome of strength and get confused over the fact that the other feels that way
because Vorona spent all these novels trying to figure out what shizuo’s weakness was only to become part of his weakness
because there is a ‘good thing’ going on between them
because he likes hearing her opinions on things and when he asks her questions he is genuinely curious
because they both suffer from self worth and depression problems but together work through them
because he’s in japan and she’s in russia but that red string will bring them back together IT BETTER BRING THEM BACK TOGETHER
