Yana: Tomorrow, I will definitely eat pancakes.

Gosh! One blunt word comes out of her and suddenly ciel entire issues is her fault. How can one word offend so many people 0-0.

One word: #fandom.

It’s not the first time Frances gets hit by some shit though, because her badass side doesn’t always manage to impress fans who prefer to see her as a bad mother and aunt, for reasons I have trouble acknowledging.

You’ll notice that people get offended easily with fiction though. I read quite a few negative posts about Vincent after the new chapter, when it was Diedrich’s turn last month and Tanaka’s the month before or so.

The reasoning is as such: one character = “baby”, so if any other character goes as far as to criticize them, then they’re a threat and they’re insulted. In the end, it’s all about understanding why a character like Frances would say something like that, but I dare say that not many fans try to see the story in its globality.

Anyway, at least there is one explanation going around, so maybe it will help people who didn’t understand what Frances was trying to say.

Have a nice day Anon. 🙂

Hello! Well, the thing is, I can’t be 100% sure but I read from @hitsugikuro and several others that “spare” was the accurate word considering the time era. So I believe some fans just get offended because it does have a negative connotation nowadays when it didn’t use to.

Anyway, @akumadeenglish explained that the most literal translation was “extra” and not spare, but since Yen Press always tries to give Kuroshitsuji this “old English” vibe, I think maybe the word was chosen because it fit the time era.

I hope it helps! Have a nice day Anon.

Lmao, no need to bet Anon, I’m sure Frances and Lizzie can both defeat Grey somehow, even if Frances might indeed have the experience in her favor! xD

Hopefully for him he doesn’t have bangs, so she might leave his “rat tail” alone if he surrenders easily, haha!

Have a nice day Anon 🙂

Hello and don’t worry Anon, I think a lot of people get confused and annoyed by how our!Ciel is constantly referred to in the flashbacks. x)

However, while I’m pretty sure our!Ciel has a real name, I am not sure that Yana will ever reveal it loud and clear because “Ciel Phantomhive” is quite the iconic name and it would be hard for our!Ciel’s character to take on another identity after 26 volumes.

Yana might still reveal his name at some point, but if so, I think it will be at a very specific time (for example, maybe if he ends up dying and a Shinigami collects his soul, but in that case that would mean that Seb lost the game).

Good luck until then, Anon! I personally refer to our!Ciel as Ciel and real!Ciel as the twin from time to time.

Have a nice day!

1/2 Kuro spoilers: Wouldn’t it be funny if the killer of Agni was Charles Grey? Maybe he, and another perpetrator, someone from the sect, went to the Mansion in hopes of getting Ciel, but when only Soma and Agni were there, he and his accomplice got angry, and went for Soma and Agni instead. Grey is a hot tempered, he’s skilled with the swords, incredibly fast, even faster than Mey-rin’s gun skills, and he has a dislikes for Ciel and some of Ciel’s friends. I’m not too serious about the idea,

Hey Anon! And I don’t know about funny (T_T) but I remember last month that I had briefly considered the idea of Grey, since Soma & Agni had met with the Double Charles during the Easter chapter.

That being said, the knives really reminded me of Polaris, even if there is no real certainty on the matter as long as Soma doesn’t say whether we readers actually met those characters before or not. I also don’t think Lizzie is involved with the events of ch126/127, since there is no way she’d be able to kill Soma and Agni.

However there is one other thing that you said, even though you added you’re not serious about it but…

image

See, while for now I think that the one who stabbed Agni might be Lord Polaris, I’m considering that you might not be too far off about the Queen and about someone from her close circle being involved in this.

I promise that there is a detailed post coming up to explain, probably next week as I’m very busy these days, but maybe you should be more serious about that idea. 😉 Let’s just say that Agni’s murder convinced me that the Undertaker (the character we read about so far at least) couldn’t be behind this, 2CT or not.

If you really can’t wait or if you understand what I’m talking about, I’ll try and finish the post sooner, so you and I can talk more about this idea. It’s been a long time since I last wrote a serious post for Kuro though, so I’m trying to make it as readable as possible, to avoid boring the few people who will want to read it. xD

Anyway Anon, I promise, more on the subject soon! I just want for everyone to read the chapter and to let people cope with Agni’s death first.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Have a nice day :))

Hey Anon! And wow, thanks for the explanation!

I’ll have to take your word for it though, since I’m really shitty at symbolism but thanks a lot for sharing: the way you put it makes it sound beautiful despite how sad the entire chapter was… ;_;

Thanks for passing by! Have a nice day :3

(baron anon) The thing is that when Ciel’s gone I don’t realky want Lizzy just to be « over » him cause her loyalty to Ciel is one of the major characteristics she has and for her to lose that doesn’t seem likely. But at the same time it would really suck if she didn’t get over for him for the reat of her life and never hooked up with someone cause some kid when she was 14. I dunno, maybe Yana will make it for her that she doesn’t need someone cause she should really just love herself, idek. :/

dorkshadows:

(You wouldn’t happen to gargoyle anon too, would you? lol)

I feel the same way- I don’t think Lizzie will ever be “over” Ciel because she sincerely loves him and nobody ever gets over someone they loved. But I also don’t want her to spend the rest of her life depressed over her childhood sweetheart.

Pragmatically, she would have to end up with somebody. It doesn’t have to be someone she loves as much as Ciel, but just a husband that respects and cherishes her and she’s comfortable living with. Her parents would want that for her. Of course, the shadow of Ciel would always be over her, but Lizzie will have to grow up and move on- it’ll hurt when she thinks about him, but she’ll have her own life, new woes, new joys, etc.

I think the best way this can end (assuming Ciel dies really early) is if he’s not a total dick about leaving everyone behind and finds the chance to at least tell Lizzie his wishes. Like, maybe he can make her promise to love herself and be happy, regardless of whether or not he’s around. That way, every time Lizzie thinks of him, she’ll remember his parting words and pursue her happiness for both their sakes.

Sorry to butt in, but with the eventual possibility of Ciel’s death and my personal wish not to have Lizzie spending the rest of her life mourning an impossible future with him, I personally don’t really see Lizzie marrying anyone later.
…But that’s mainly because she was raised all her life to be the wife of the Watchdog, so any peaceful future void of fighting wouldn’t really suit her character in my opinion.

For example, having her travel with Soma to India (or with Sieglinde around the world) would suit her better even if that’s not what you’d expect of someone of her rank.

…Also, I know not many would agree but all in all, if she really had to stay an English lady and marry in the future, I feel Charles Grey (under the condition that he matures and if he’s not dead by the end of Kuro) would be the best choice because he apparently values what she’s made of (on top of him knowing about Ciel’s duty).

I don’t know, we haven’t seen them interacting a lot but a love-hate relationship would suit them, especially since the way I see him, Grey is bound to find every other proper ladies annoying if one of them is able to hold her own against him.
