For some reason I’ve always thought Edward rather takes after his father (in his looks as well as personality), but now that I think about it, Edward and Frances are indeed similar

in their behaviours,

outward appearance 

and lovely personality xD

Now I have one more reason to love Edward! (≧▽≦)
