ciel is on the verge of crying and it’s not a reaction towards angi’s death (tho he was shocked/horrified over it) and it’s not over soma punching him. actually he’s not even angry or anything over that. it’s purely over soma getting hurt. because of him. because being watchdog is a dangerous role that puts everyone close to him in danger
even tho he’s says “i told you not to get involved with me” he’s probably beating himself up on the inside because he cares about soma and he never wanted him to get hurt. especially not this bad
and hhhh this panel. ( ; v 😉 soma with blood and tears dripping and ciel’s emotional expression… seeing soma in this condition ;;;;;; and the way he lets soma rest in his arms for a bit

in #19 when the cultist gives oCiel ‘the mark of a noble beast,’ was oCiel singled out for this?
Honestly, I’ve been wondering about this, too, for a while
I used to think OC was the only one that got branded because the cultists said
“お前には崇高なる獣の印をあげようね”
which translates to
“We shall give you (*singular + emphasis) the mark of the noble beast”
The “you” in this sentence is 100% singular and slightly emphasised, that’s why I always thought it was only OC who got branded, but I recently noticed that it is also possible that the cultists meant something like
“We shall give you (OC) this mark [and your brother (RC) a different mark]”
so this line doesn’t necessarily prove that OC was the only one with the brand.
Also,
these two panels are from ch19 and judging from the hair parting I think we can safely assume this is RC.
As you can see, there’s a fresh scar? burn mark? visible on his right arm and I’ve been wondering for quite a while now whether this is supposed to be a brand or not ((Though, I rather tend to think it’s not, because if it is a brand mark, then it must be a super small one, much smaller than the one OC got, considering it fits in a 10-year-old child’s forearm.))

Yes, real Ciel certainly seems obsessed about his brother now.
And this obsession seems to have started already when they were children but it was less prominent then.
The twins were always together when they grew up and because of our Ciel’s weak health and shyness real Ciel started to feel like the strong big brother who would need to protect his younger brother. And this seems to have become an obsession for him. While our Ciel started to become more individual and independent the real Ciel stuck to the thought that things would always be like when they were children and that the twins would always be together. That’s why he was so shocked and upset about our Ciel’s plans on becoming a toymaker in London.
The only thing that could calm real Ciel down after that was the thought about him being able to support our Ciel when he’s the Earl. Because like that he could still be the big brother who helps and protects his little brother in need again.
Now we don’t know what happened to real Ciel in the past four years. But he most likely died in the cult back when Sebastian was summoned and now must have been revived. So far, the only possibility of reviving the dead that we know of involves the Cinematic Record and the use of fake records or – more successful – the dead’s yearnings for the future (”episodes”).
Of course this time the method of reviving the dead seems a bit different (with the blood transfusion and all) but there might still be similarities to Undertaker’s method. And when the real Ciel died his yearnings for the future were surely focused on being with our Ciel, supporting and protecting him as the big brother.
So if these episodes of real Ciel were used in order to revive him, this obsession about our Ciel is what’s driving him now. And maybe that’s why this obsession is now even stronger than it was before. The manipulation of the Blue Sect and real Ciel probably not having a soul anymore probably makes that even worse. So I think real Ciel wants himself and our Ciel to go back into the roles they had before the attack and to recreate the future he had in mind for them before he died. He probably wants our Ciel all to himself and for that he’s using whatever means he deems necessary.

This were first introduced in tg where Touka ate Yoriko’s food, slowing her movements in fights and retaining her kagune, as it was shown in her battle against Tsukiyama. Despite everything, she is still able to fight against Mutsuki which shows her strength.
I’m 99% sure that Touka is actually holding back because if she went all out, her body might start to absorb the baby.
