Another possible plot convenient annoyance till now that finally got addressed too.

I hope Sensei will provide an explanation rather than just pointing out that she hasn’t forgotten about it, be it

@johnlockcanonsince1887 Ahh, no, that’s not exactly what the Munchausen syndrome by proxy is about. Rather, this is the caregiver (here: possibly real!Ciel) who makes a dependent person appear mentally or physically ill, generally in order to gain attention, to quote from wikipedia.

Of course, this is entirely theoretical and besides, if the answer is anything close to that, maybe Sensei just got inspiration from this syndrome without making our!Ciel’s condition entirely similar to it.

For now, I think it’s just important to keep in mind that it seems our!Ciel’s condition generally got better before reaching 10 years old (as we saw him attending the Easter’s egg hunt)…

image

…which is why the likeliest idea for me used to simply be that his immune system matured as he grew up, allowing him to be sick less frequently (it’s a thing, really).

Since Sensei took the time to mention it in the newest chapter though, I’m ready to

possibly

consider a more complex explanation, which is why I mentioned what @akumadeenglish proposed a few days ago, but frankly I’m not too sure it’s likely (especially since Rachel was often sick herself, so it makes sense that one of her kids inherited her condition).

While we’re on the subject, @jaena-eowyn proposed that maybe the injections the cult gave the twins might be related to that…

image

…but for now I don’t think it’s likely either, because our!Ciel never had an attack in 3 years of living with Seb (until that cold shower during the circus arc) and, without going into details, a few injections aren’t supposed to cure or diminish a chronic disease like asthma, at least going by how it is IRL.

TL;DR Ciel’s asthma/coughing attacks didn’t disappear over time as we could see with the circus arc, it just seems that they were/are less frequent than they used to be during his childhood, which is why for now, though I’m not excluding more complex ideas, I’m thinking it’s possibly simply about growing up.

Isn’t it a bit of a plot hole that Ciel seems so shocked that Seb is going to take his soul when Seb said the same thing the previous chapter? :/ I mean idk why he looked so surprised, I’d have thought Ciel would have noticed when he said that, even if Real Ciel’s body was being waved in front of him. I don’t understand how it slipped past him? He seems to have been listening otherwise. Or have I overlooked something? :3

Hi Anon! Nah, I wouldn’t call this a plot hole. You’re right, Seb did mention it in ch137…

image

buuut it totally went past our!Ciel’s head because he rather focused on what Seb said about how he “sacrificed his brother”:

In other words, Seb did mention it ahead but Ciel probably didn’t realize what the demon said because all he could think about was “what a horrible human being he was to have sacrificed his own brother’s soul”.

That’s why…

image

Seb’s friendly reminder came as a shock in ch138 instead, in my opinion.

I hope it helps, have a nice day Anon!

Explain Sebastian’s triples? I did get it..

image

Hi Anon! And actually, there is nothing to explain…

image

It was just Seb shape-shifting to find a human appearance that Ciel would like for his butler. 🙂

If you referring to the “3 Sebastian theory” though, it’s just a crack idea that was initially meant to mock the 2CT and all the rather visual hints that Sensei left for foreshadowing.

So no worries, there is only one Seb. It’s wayyyy more than enough. xD

Have a nice day!

When I’m hiding something, I end up touching my chin.

When Hide is thinking about something, he puts his hand on his cheek.
Haise imitates that and touches his cheek.

Akira-san braids her hair so that she can remember her parents.

Whenever Urie-kun paused, he was thinking about something.
When Mutsuki-kun grabs the hem of his shirt, he shuts away his own feelings.

Saiko-chan often cried when she thought about her mother.
Shirazu-kun said that he wanted to go on a motorcycle trip with his sister.

When I saw Touka-chan’s true feelings, she looked straight at me with her right eye.

The flashbacks I would like to see are the lighthearted ones where the Phantomhives and Midfords are having dinner together and the families have to suffer through Frances and Vincent’s incessant bickering also can someone reveal already when, why, and how they decided to get Real Ciel and Lizzy engaged? Bonus if we see more little Our!Ciel and Lizzy interactions.

(please give more screen time to my faves frannie and vincent too)

A fanart of these two adorable girls, Elizabeth Midford carrying Sieglinde Sullivan from Kuroshitsuji.

It inspired me to make this illustration in the scene of Cruise Liner Arc where Lizzy volunteer to carry Ciel at her back Then I suddenly think about the friendship between Sieglinde and Lizzy. I thought why not Lizzy carry in a piggyback style Sieglinde? I suppose that will make them unladylike but I still think that style has a feel of childish innocence in it specially that Sieglinde is younger than Lizzy .We know Lizzy ,her strength is inhuman so carrying Sieglinde is a piece of cake.

I also got carried away by drawing Elizabeth’s dress and it’s really hard to draw Sully’s skirt’s fold .It took me a bit of time sketching it hehehe
